About International Police Association

The International Police Association is a friendship organisation for members of the police force, whether serving or retired, with over 380,000 members in over 68 countries, making us the largest police association globally.

It is designed to create better understanding and friendship between police forces worldwide. Members of the association wholly finance it through membership fees and socials carried out by the regions. The I.P.A. does not solicit donations.

Become an IPA Member

Become an IPA Member for just $50, which covers a $30 joining fee and your first year’s subscription of $20.

Please be aware that starting October 1, 2025, the membership fee for new members will rise to $80, which includes a $30 joining fee and a $50 first-year subscription.

Members will pay $50 annually after that. Join us now and become part of a supportive community!

Young Police Officers' Seminar (YPOS)

A chance to further your career on an international level Every other year, the IPA organises a Young Police Officers’ Seminar, providing the opportunity for newer recruits to meet their peers and take part in a themed training programme.
