MALTA The 1st IPA Mediterranean Regional Shooting Competition will take place from 25th to 28th April 2012, to run concurrently with the Mediterranean Sections meeting which will also take place in Malta. (Newsletter 2011-07)
(Please note that IPA Malta Section is limited to extend its invitation to IPA European Sections only due to the Weapons Ordinance Regulations, which restricts and controls the temporary importation of fire arms, from countries outside the European area).

POLAND The World Police Volleyball Championship will take place from 03 – 06 May 2012 in Zlotow district Wielkopolska. Section Poland supports this event. (Newsletter 2011-12)

ITALY 5-a-side football tournament – the 13th Adriatic Trophy – to be held in Giulianova (Teramo) from 9th to 12th May 2012. (sent direct 6-12-11)

HUNGARY As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Section Hungary invites you to a Friendship Week in Budapest from 13th – 19th May 2012. (Newsletter 2011-11)

POLAND XIV International Football Tournament Poznan 2012. This event will be held from 17 – 20th May in Blazejewko.

ITALY The 9th Trophy "Città di Cesena e Cervia" and the 3rd Trophy "Girls in Uniform", both International 5 a-side Football Tournaments, the first for men and the second for women, will take place in CERVIA (Ravenna) – Emilia Romagna region, from 24th to 27th May 2012. (Newsletter 2011-08)

FRANCE An International Motorcycle Rally is being organised by the Region of Maine and Loire from 25th to 28th or 29th May 2012. Newsletter 2011-10)

CANADA The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans Association is hosting an Alaskan Cruise on 27 May 2012 to coincide with its national AGM. This is not an official IPA event but IPA members are invited to join the cruise. (Newsletter 2010-08)

NETHERLANDS The ‘four days marches of Nijmegen’ is an annual walking sport event from 17-20 July 2012. Although this is NOT an official IPA event, Section Netherlands is happy to welcome participating members and also assist them to find accommodation. THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING 2012 - Czech REPUBLIC 4TH - 18TH AUGUST

The International Youth Gathering programme, application form and parental consent form for this event were sent to all Newsletter recipients on 24th November. Participants must be aged 16 or 17 and all applications must be sent via National Sections. Information is also available on the IAC website.

ITALY 30th Anniversary Celebrations of the Local Branch IPA TARVISIO (Friuli Region) will be held from 29th August to 2nd September 2012 in Tarvisio. (Newsletter 2011-12)

ISRAEL XX World Congress – Israel, 4th - 9th September with a Friendship Week to follow, 9th - 15th September.

A QUICK INSIGHT - 2013

ICELAND As part of the Section’s 50th anniversary celebrations, a midnight golf tournament will be organised on the 25th June 2013 giving an opportunity to play golf in the midnight sun.
