Annual General Meeting 9th August, 2010
Held at the Lakes Room R.S.L. Club, Hervey Bay
Attendance:
Peter Goonan, Val Benstead, Gary Cohen, Dave Barrowcliffe, Gordon Close, Ross Dickson, Sunday McKenzie, Dennis Hanrahan, Richard Corless, Frank Hoeter, Jim Cook.
Apologies: Gary Jamieson, Graham Newman, Ian Tarlinton,Cliff Redley, Tom McLeod, Bob Ball.
Opening:
Chairman Peter Goonan opened the meeting at 11 a.m. and welcomed all members, their wives and guests.
Minutes:
The Secretary read the Minutes of the 2009 A.G.M. Moved Gary Cohen, seconded Frank Hoeter. No Matters arising from the Minutes.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer Gary Cohen presented the current audited balance sheet showing an opening balance of $1,400.44 and a closing balance of $1,370.17. He moved that the accounts be accepted as read, seconded Jim Cook.
Inward Correspondence:
Email from Lorenzo Ricato regarding current members of committee. Emails from Ross Pengelly re. the new web site, also email concerning dates of various regions and sub-regions AGMs and other information. No outward correspondence.
General Business:
Peter Goonan declared all positions vacant and, with agreement, he remained in the chair and conducted the election of office bearers. After due process the committee was re-elected for the following year with the exception of Jim Cook, who stood down. Peter Goonan agreed to take over on a temporary basis until such time as a replacement is found.

Vice Chairman: Gordon Close – nominated by Ross Dickson, seconded Val Benstead.
Secretary: Val Benstead – nominated by Gordon Close, seconded Peter Goonan.
Assistant Secretary: Ross Dickson – nominated by Dave Barrowcliffe, seconded Dennis Hanrahan.
Treasurer: Gary Cohen – nominated by Val Benstead, seconded by Gordon Close.
Assistant Treasurer: Sunday McKenzie – nominated by Gordon Close, seconded Peter Goonan.
Sub-Editor: Peter Goonan – nominated by Frank Hoeter, seconded Gordon Close
Closure: There being no further business the meeting was closed at 11.30 a.m.
