2012 Annual AGM Hosted In Queensland

The International Police Association’s Queensland Region has the honour of hosting the National Annual General Meeting for 2012. We extend a warm invitation to IPA members and partners to join us for this event.

Meeting Venues

All meetings (NEB, AGM and NEC) will be held at the

Queensland Police Headquarters,
200 Roma Street, Brisbane.

Functions

The cocktail function will be held on the rooftop of the Queensland Police Credit Union (QPCU) building, 231 North Quay, Brisbane, which is a 5 minute walk from Queensland Police Headquarters.

The formal dinner will be held at the United Services Club, 183 Wickham Terrace, Brisbane. The venue is a 10 minute walk from the Abbey Apartments, however a shuttle bus will be available from Queensland Police Headquarters, which is adjacent to the apartments (please refer to the AGM program for more information).

Accommodation

The 2012 AGM organisers have obtained a great offer from the Abbey Apartments, 160 Roma Street, Brisbane (adjacent to Queensland Police Headquarters). We have reserved 48 self contained apartments – 40 standard apartments @ $155 a night and 8 larger apartments @ $175 a night respectively.

Both apartment sizes accommodate two persons and both have the ability for a third person (maximum) to be included for an extra $30 a night. To make your booking please quote it under the IPA and e-mail abbey@qresorts.com.au or if you would like any further information please call reservations on (07) 3236 0600. Early bookings are essential.

Registration & Payment

To assist with event planning please register as early as possible.  

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT FOR FINAL TRAVEL DETAILS, they can be updated at a later date.

Registration and payment is required no later than September 30th 2012.
Remember – the Abbey Apartments accommodation may well be booked out long before this date.

Payment for the AGM is separate to any accommodation deposit required by the Abbey Apartments. Please make AGM registration payments by electronic transfer using the following:
