About the "New Look" Website

Here's some of the new features we've incorporated into the site:

Footer Navigation. Click on a state police sheild in the footer to jump quickly to that state's main page on this website.

News Archive. The News section is an auto-archiving database. As the list of news bulletins grows you'll appreciate the handy Search function to look up information. Search news by date, category or keyword.

The database also makes it easy for branch secretaries to place their local news on this site. If you can manage Microsoft Word you'll have no trouble uploading articles or bulletins. Contact Ross Pengilly to set up an Author Account.

Apply Online. Visitors can now apply for IPA membership online. Save a tree and get a faster response for your application. Also, comprehensive information about the Arthur Troop Scholarship and Ray Dodd Memorial Award.

More Pages. Every branch and sub-region now has their own web page. It simply means more space to display information unique to each area. The whole idea is to make our site more useful for members travelling around Australia.

Brand New Travel Section. Even more pages designed to help people get the most from their trip. Discover deals, travel info and our showcase of IPA houses.

Clearer Layout. A few things have moved but we hope for the better. New visitors will find it easier to navigate the site by finding related information grouped together.

Social Focus. Find other members with similar interests. The Social section is home to the photo pages, Hobbies Bureau and Coming Events. Also, grab your latest copy of Police Downunder Magazine here.

Suggestion Box. In spite of all the changes we want to make things even better. Help us out by providing some website feedback or dropping your thoughts in the Suggestion Box. There's even a Travel Tips section where members can share the good, bad and ugly about their trips downunder.
